This movie is glorious. The Master's (or whatever he is called) character is something that is rarely, if ever, represented in cinema. He lives for the pure sake of living. When I was young I thought that he wanted to gain or prove something from winning the shepard dog contest but he did it just because he thought it was a right thing to do, even though he knew how bizzare the situation was he followed his heart to the end.

Yes, they really are extremely good films.
As a kid, you sympathize more with Babe, the pig, but as an adult, you start to understand the motivations of Hogget and sympathize with him more.
It's good for any age, as there's a lot to get out of it, and what you get out of it will change as you age.

I would say that B2 is a weaker film because it lacks a character arc as well as a strong theme but it's still really really good. B1 is perfect though if your soul still haven't lost it's ability to love. But even technically and storytelling wise it is.
