Half of /tg/ is genuinely into smithing. Take your memes there.
Hey man,
I'm a big fan of the Criterion Collection. It's a little-known (which I like :D) business that produces high-quality releases of art films and other classics. I suggest you go over their films and without a doubt you will be able to find some quality suggestions.
Good luck.
i assume you mean heavy metal the cartoon? that was 1981 and lame
>>67938760
Thank you. Do you mind if I share it with my friends over on reddit.com? They will love it :)

>you also can't spell for shit
>>>/reddit/
>Le petit baigneur (1968)
Classic french post nouvelle vague intellectualism.
>>67938629
70s movies were on the whole shit because the colors were washed out and everyone wore drab clothes
60s and 50s movies were mostly silly, like Frankie Avalon shit. Pass
40s had some good detective movies but that's about it.
30s and 20s are for tryhard film "buffs"
Stick to 80s and later, anon.

>this is /tv/ now
There are no good films made before 1990 you pleb
>>67940009
It's like you've never watched a Western in your life. I really think you might find yourself more at home on a certain other website.

>>67940009
>ywn experience your favorite 70s film with modern color processing
B&W is still fine, but that 60s-70s phase of color film has an awful look to it.
Also a lot of 70s films have scenes where everything is blurry. Maybe they shot it on cheaper film or something, maybe it's just a bad transfer, but it's very noticeable today.
>>67940063
>reddit isn't that bad guise!1
>tripfagging
Why am I not surprised?
>>67940100
lmao
>>67940180
you fell for it
if you don't like how crummy 70s color stock or generations of transfers look then you should immediately go play in traffic until you die
>>67940344
Damnit, fooled again.
How does he do it?
>>67940009
>this is /tv/ now
Double Indemnity is a personal favorite
Maltese Falcon
I didnt like it but Casablanca deserves a little respect
Chinatown, of course
>>67940114
Exactly my point, bro.
60s and 70s movies look like the lens was dirty and they are plot driven snooze-fests.
Kino started in the 80s, with movies like Blade Runner and Raging Bull
>>67941145
>I didnt like it
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA PLEB
Bridge on the River Kwai
>>67941193
Nothing looks better than early Technicolor, pleb
>>67941323
Is that the shit where they painted it on by hand?
No thanks. Looks ridiculous. Like a 4-color comic book.
