Just because they didn't tear it to shreds doesn't mean they liked it, though. They were pleased with it in the same way a lot of us are. I hate the movie for a number of reasons (Sue, forced diversity, recycled story, general dumbing down, theresonlytiefightersandxwings.png and so on) but I can't pretend I didn't enjoy watching a new SW on the big screen. The initial rush wore off pretty soon, though. I know what to expect now and I definitely won't be wasting any more cash on further installments of this twisted SJW propaganda version of a once beloved franchise.

Rey is the poster child for awful character development. Finn was a somewhat more fleshed out character with a great backstory that was ultimately wasted, downplayed to death and lost within the supermassive black hole that is Rey.

He's ugly as sin but he kinda does look like a young Ford if you squint really hard. His performance was mediocre at best but that's probably Abrams fault because Driver's not a bad actor.
