I really liked this when I saw it in theaters, then I just rewatched it and realized 90% of the acting and writing is FUCKING TERRIBLE. How was I so retarded???
>>67865807
yes, upon second viewing the dialogue parts of the movie just drag on way too long and are too numerous for what they achieve between the action. Mustve been dazzled by the action sequences.
I think Pacific Rim is genuinely the only 10/10 film ever created Tbh

I had the exact opposite response. Saw it in theaters and loved the action but didn't care too much for the characters. Watched it three more times and fell in love with the characters and the worldbuilding. The movie perfectly embodies the kaiju/mecha genres.

that movie was garbage
ITT wannabes so desperate to look smart that can't recgonize a good action movie.
It was a fun flick, and Hollywood's first attempt at mecha anime shit
needed more combat involving the other jaegers imo
thank you del Toro

welcome to /tv/.
It was a great embodiment to the mecha genre, so it was good.

Great movie, watched it many times.
Better than Superman, BvS and Avengers 2.
