The whole sequence after luke falls from the window, when vader lunges at him out of the dark hallway and starts wrecking shit, driving him onto the walkway is GOAT. Vader feels like an actual monster, and that makes the human revelation that he's Luke's father even better.
It's the theme of 'out of the frying pan and into the fryer' which lights up the darkness in 'Empire...' with those unexplained and unexplainable surrealistic interludes.
It's at that point that our conceit reaches the kino stage for each character.

I like the parts in bespin (calrissian's home) in V. I just really felt transported to that place. What I loved was that chewy, c3po, Han,and leia all also felt uneasy there. It was like I was having the same experiences as the main characters. Whereas on hoth and other planets it's crazy cool for me, but to them it's just another planet. On bespin everyone feels uneasy.

Also, having the separate scenes with the creepy little dudes who destroyed c3po just reinforces that whole "all is not what it seems" feeling. Useful scenes despite not doing much for the overall plot.
