There are films made after it that does everything Citizen Kane did and better.

Why do I even come here? The film is a masterpiece. I watched it for the first time 2 years ago looking to take it down a notch and walked away extremely satisfied. The movie was surprisingly modern as in could have been made yesterday and wouldn't feel too dated
