posts like this made me question my original take on the movie and y'know what? I still think it's a crap movie, but it was trying to say something more than Marvel films do. Yet I'm OK with capeshit being entertainment, it doesn't have to be Ozu or Tartovsky. Give me heroes with the right mix of pathos, foibles, charisma, humor, and characters. Sometimes that's enough and I'll find more challenging fare elsewhere.
