>supershit
>can't hear ticking bomb from two feet away
>focuses on Congresswoman Peach Pee's stuttering and awkward silences, instead of actually hearing a fucking ticking bomb

Let's face it, writers of this movie should literally be in "DELETE THIS" mode right now.
>>

He can't focus on everything at once retard. They even explained it in man of steel. Go kill yourself.

Fag everbody knows that modern bombs have a tiny red light that blinks and goes beep, beep, beep.

come on grandpa, do you think theres a big double bell alarm clock attached to some dynomite in that guys wheelchair?
>>
>>67706883
Why would the bomb be ticking? It could have been made with a digital watch or have a detonator.
What I don't get is why Lex gave a bunch of mercs these experimental prototype bullets.
>>
>ticking bomb
Haven't you watched fight club?
>>
>>67706883
The whole point is that underneath his godly powers,Supes is just an incompetent and insecure man. He was probably freaking out during the whole trial thinking of the right words to say to look good.
>>
>>67706945

So Lois Lane could discover them.
She's a Pulitzer Prize winning journalist!

Gee, a ticking timer would probably stand out among the crowd.
>>
>>67706903
At his age he should be completely aware of discrepancies of this sort at the very least covering the entire building.

He's not a kid anymore. Not noticing the bomb shows tunnel vision for one of his species. A lack of awareness.
>>
>>67706926
Those tracking devices sure did BLINK and BEEP a lot.

It's be common courtesy for the bombs to tick and have huge alarm clocks on top of them.
>>
>>67706883
I was so pumped for this scene to hear what Suped had to say. It really pissed me off when it ended so abruptly.

>>
>>67707017
how do you know it was a ticking timer? even if it was, I doubt the ordinary person could hear it. Supes even said it in the movie, "I didn't see it lois. Because I wasn't looking." They even fucking explained it you piece of faggotshit. Go complain about something else.

Imagine it being really quiet in the room and suddenly you hear from under the wheelchair guy's seat a robotic voice saying "time to detonation: 30 seconds" and people look at him with raised eye brows and the wheelchair guy is perplex as well and then the voice is back "20, 19, 18,". And nobody does anything and the scene plays out the same. I hope that'll be in the director's cut.
>>
>>67707054
he only focuses on what he wants to hear. He has been keeping an eye out for lois because shes goes to dangerous places like Africa in the beginning. Before you complain why he never heard Martha's kidnapping, let me tell you that he never imagined that his identity would be discovered by anyone, let alone his mother being in any harm.

furthre proof this movie was simply grotesque
>>
>>67707045

Yeah because he had a personal interest in Lois Lane. Everyone else is like an ant to him. It's a new Ayn Randian take on Supes, and I applaud it.

Now, a lesser filmaker would probably have spun this version of supes into a compelling story and an interesting subversion of audience expectations. But not the visionary Snyder, oh no. He boldly leaves the movie in such a mess that even after hours of research online and in old comic books, you're still left with cobbling diffrent fan theories and head canons together in order to at least try to makes sense of it all.

An as evidenct in the box office, this is the future of cinema. A brave new world.

All these what-ifs and maybes makes this film so much better, imho. There simply are no answers, much like real life.It leaves you wondering if it is you who is insane, or if the world has gone completley mad. Maybe we are all insane? These are the quetions rushing through my head as the flashing lights and loud action brings me closer to migraine headache. It is truly apocalyptic film making, apoka-kino if yo will. Powerful stuff.

>>
>>67707855
Another thing is, I've never had any interest in rewatching a marvel movie. But I always find myself coming back to Snyder's movies. My personal prediction is that once the MCU is all said and done, nobody will ever remember it 50 years from then. The opposite of that will happen to Snyder's movies. And he's doing JL as well. What did Batman do against Doomsday? I don't see how Batman could do anything to stop Doomsday.
>>
>>67707978

My only gripe with Sucker Punch was the subtle feminist overtones. Syder is a man of his time, though. Or... Maybe it is I who is to old fashioned...?

Haha, I think he did it again. Fucking Snyder, always teaching me lessons.
>>
>>67708082

.He initially opens up on him with machine gun fire from the Batwing and leads him to a low population area. Then he fire a kryptonite gas grenade (meant for Superman) that weakens Doomsday which keeps him from breaking free from Wonder Woman's Lasso. Then Superman stabs Doomsday with a kryptonite tipped spear
>>
>>67708082
he shot kryptonite gas in his face. And he was trying to stay alive. It's not much but at least it's something. Batman in this universe has probably never experienced anything like this. When he saw doomsday he was all like "fuck me Alfred what do?' because he wasn't trained for this shit. These characters are truly larger than life.

I'm not the one comparing a glorified mtv director to Stanley Kubrick here.
Kubrick knew the difference between a good script and a piece of shit.
>>
>>67708082

He mostly just ran interference, buying time for WW and supes to mount an effective attack

And Snyder doesn't? The scripts he chooses are fine, the problem lies in the studios meddling and forcing him to make terrible edits. They don't let him make his vision, Kubrick had that luxury

I actually thought that the court would be the place where Lex would test Kryptonite's effect on Superman. Like he'd hide it in a wheelchair. In retrospect this could free Superman of some of the guilt, saying it blocked him from sensing the bomb.
