I was in wood shop class in my sophomore year of high school in florida. Every teacher turned on the classroom tvs and we watched the news all day. Some teachers were crying, some were cursing loud as fuck. It looked like a fucking disaster movie scene or something. it was crazy.

Was in class, then we got let go early because our teacher had a relative that worked near the building (she got a call on her cell phone). So I went back to the student apartment and watched what was happening on tv. I guess I was a sophomore in college at the time.
I'm Australian so my Dad and Brother woke me at like 23:00 and said the twin towers were attacked, I said good, fuck off and went back to sleep
Senior in high school. Stoned out of my mind in World Geography class. We watched it on tv for awhile then they let us go home. I don't remember the rest of the day. Much like I don't remember much from that time in my life.

We had our 3rd period teacher give us the news, then went into our 4th period class and watched the second tower fall. Our teacher, whose niece worked in one of the buildings, went into the side room for about 20 minutes, then came out and gave the lesson plan as usual. Pretty damn brave of him to do that. Miraculously, his niece happened to late that day and saw what was happening on her way to work, so she lucked out. Sounds a little cliched but it's what he told us.

Since I'm not an ameridumb I had no idea wtf those were. Then I went to some room that had a tv, saw it and my jaw dropped, it was unthinkable. Then when I went home I spent the whole day watching CNN and repeats of the vids, it was crazy as hell.
