yep.

my middle school is on a Naval Airforce Base, so boy howdy did we have a heck of a time coming home that day.

every single vehicle leaving the base had to be individually cleared by an officer.

I still remember Ms. Nakamoto telling our class that the world will never be the same after that day.

I was in wood shop class in my sophomore year of high school in florida. Every teacher turned on the classroom tvs and we watched the news all day. Some teachers were crying, some were cursing loud as fuck. It looked like a fucking disaster movie scene or something. it was crazy.
>>
4th grade, all the teachers had the news on too. At the time I didn't get just how serious it was, until the war started.

Was in class, then we got let go early because our teacher had a relative that worked near the building (she got a call on her cell phone). So I went back to the student apartment and watched what was happening on tv. I guess I was a sophomore in college at the time.
>>
I'm Australian so my Dad and Brother woke me at like 23:00 and said the twin towers were attacked, I said good, fuck off and went back to sleep
>>
Senior in high school. Stoned out of my mind in World Geography class. We watched it on tv for awhile then they let us go home. I don't remember the rest of the day. Much like I don't remember much from that time in my life.

We had our 3rd period teacher give us the news, then went into our 4th period class and watched the second tower fall. Our teacher, whose niece worked in one of the buildings, went into the side room for about 20 minutes, then came out and gave the lesson plan as usual. Pretty damn brave of him to do that. Miraculously, his niece happened to late that day and saw what was happening on her way to work, so she lucked out. Sounds a little cliched but it's what he told us.

People who were in middle and elementary school on 9/11 would be in their 20s now you fucking dingus.

18 year olds were literal toddlers in 2001. You're getting old.

However on the Yank 9/11 I was sitting in my living room wondering why the fuck the news was on instead of CheezTV
>>
>>67693379
In the seventh grade, in the hallway waiting to move to the next class. I heard a kid talking about it but he didn't seem to take it too seriously. Then in class the teacher talked to us about the situation and its implications. The rest of the day all we did was watch what was happening on tv.
>>
>>67693379
I was at home, about to go to school, my dad came home from taking my younger brother to school and told me to change to the news. He'd heard it on the radio on the way back, saw it, then headed out to grab my brother back.
we're in Florida, George Bush was in Florida, he was trying to keep us safe somehow. I got to miss school and then I played Chrono Cross and Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2

>>
I was in one of my last years of high school in a hall when a female cunt of a teacher that hated me (mutual) told me they just crashed planes in the twin towers. Since I'm not an ameridumb I had no idea wtf those were. Then I went to some room that had a tv, saw it and my jaw dropped, it was unthinkable. Then when I went home I spent the whole day watching CNN and repeats of the vids, it was crazy as hell.

Perfect choice
>>
>Be me in 7th grade
>Hear some shit on the radio on the way to school
>DJ says it's an accident
>Second plane hits sometime during 2nd period
>Principle comes on intercom let's everyone know what's happening
>Best friend's mom is a flight attendant and was flying that morning
>Starts crying next to me
>Don't know that to say
>Mom picks me up not long after that
>Go down the street to best friend's house to watch TV and play Dreamcast

I honestly wish I could go back and relive that day. Shit was surreal.

Australia's relationship with America is what made it far far worse towards the end of the 20th century
