Why, just because the templars were dicks?
Maybe not everything has an agenda behind it?

In the end, both Bloom and Saladin admit that Jerusalem is just a city, but means much to the people they lead

Most Robin Hood adaptations portray Richard the Lionheart as a great hero. Even though he was a war criminal who didn't give a shit about his own country (besides it making money to fund his crusade).

I think Robin of Sherwood is the only one I've seen that gets it right.

In the first crusade Bohemond ran out of food, sacked a city called Ma'ara and ate the women and children inside.

The Arabs/Turks had no idea why we were doing this. All of these blonde giants showed up one day and started eating babies. It was rad as fuck.

As far as the first crusade goes they really didn't do anything to warrant it - crusaders entered a tense and complex political situation on behalf of the Byzantines and then proceeded to give all of them heart attacks when they heard from their Turk buddies what was happening.

No, actually the movie is critical of both sides. Its critical of the dogma of religion.

Thats why the main character is an atheist, and why the more prominent figures on both sides are atheists too, at least to some degree.

Jerusalem doesnt even cara about the city anymore, he cares about the people and peace, to him the city was a prize in his youth.

Same with salahadin, thats why he says the city is worth both nothing and everything, its not a holy city of god, but it is a holy city of people, his people want it, thats why it matters.

Great movie if you watch the directors cut

the movie was modernized to crap. Just the character portrayals themselves were annoying. I didnt hate the movie or anything, but it was what it was, a decent big medieval Hollywood flick.

Heres a good vid on it

You can't draw a sword that long from the same side as your hand without looking like a complete retard

Unless he drew it out the normal way but switched hands, which is even dumber because he could just put the scabbard on the right side

Why do you believe mudslime propoganda?
>>
What were the Crusades REALLY about?

Looting? Ore? Oil?
>>
>>67476854
this, saladin was a great leader and ultimately had the moral high ground both with the war and how he treated those under him(including non-muslim) but the whole movie is noble savage evil whitey

butthurt christfags attacking mudslime instead of retake their territories.

How?
Because if you draw it from the same side, the chances are you drew it without your wrist being bent, so you'd have to turn the sword around to face the front.

if you drew it with your wrist bent, you could draw it out and have it facing the front but it'd probably drag on the dirt
