Nah, no one but retards looking for something to be offended over cared about that.
After hearing about Trank's original vision for the film (Cronenberg-esque body horror) and the few glimpses of that that were in the movie, I'm so disappointed we'll never get to see it.
Other than that, it's a terrible film. Half of it was reshot and it's easy to tell where. The "funny" scenes weren't funny. The most hilarious scene was when they were getting back to Earth and The Thing was getting bombarded by rocks in the shuttle.
