This movie came out a few months after 9/11, but it was mostly made before 9/11 and had pre-9/11 artists like NSYNC and Aaron carter on the soundtrack.
Did this feel more like a pre-9/11 movie or a post-9/11 movie to you, /tv/?

I've never "felt" a film belonged in either category
I remember it really had a nice suburban feeling to it, Shrek and Jimmy Neutron were a lot of fun back in the day.
Definitely pre-9/11 when fun was still allowed.

Felt like a 9/11 foreshadowing movie like men in black or independence day. Not so much just 9/11 but that every thing is controlled

Felt pre 9/11. Do kids even hang out in their neighborhoods and get into hijinx anymore?

That is exactly what historians will say 500 years from now
