It seemed really inconsistent with what kind of damage it does.
One time it blows up cover, the other time it leaves a big blast as it hits troopers, another time it leaves normal blaster marks as it hits troopers and it even needed two shots to open a lock.
Fuck, even Kylo Ren didn't have any visible wounds (apart from blood dripping down his robe) when he took a blast to the stomach/side.

Her past was revealed, Luke's downfall was shown, Kylo's betrayel and his Knights were shown, it was shown how she was destined to face him, etc.
