He's a very human filmmaker and all his films are visually gorgeous in different ways. It's hard to really justify Korine to someone who doesn't like him because his films are all so personal and visceral. For me at least.
Enter the void was beautiful to look at, that's for sure.

Enter the Void, Buddhist ramblings aside, is definitely existential and has more feeling in it than Kubrick's whole filmography.
Irreversible has a lot to say on masculinity and dominance/sex.
"Saying something" is not Noe's immediate concern thogh, and it doesn't have to be
Kubrick's a robot. That's why 2001 works. He's filming and commenting his fellow robots. But the rest of his work is lacking in any human insight because he was too busy being cold and cynical. Not my cup of tea desu though I'm not saying Kubrick's undeserving of his legend status.
Argie cinema is good, but Peruvian cinema is the best.
