Portal could easily be a good film the mythos and story behind it make it decent enough for film plus it's in the same universe as Half Life so there could be a possible crossover.

How many times will Abrams put "the cake is a lie" references into the Portal movie? It's literally the only meme/catch phrase from Portal, so I don't see how Abrams could make an entire movie out of it (as opposed to Star Trek which has produced a wide variety of memes/catch phrases.)
