I'm curious to anyone who's read the tl;dr version of everything

WHY IN THE FUCK WOULD HE NOT USE THE CAR CRUSHER ON HIS PROPERTY? How do you explain that other than he was framed?
>>
>>67251039
Sounds like someone just got woke
>>
>>67251039
He's guilty, the prosecutor is a piece of shit, but Avery is a bigger piece of shit
>>
He's guilty as fuck. You bleeding heart cunts cling to this because you want to belong to some civil rights issue that allows you to show off how educated and compassionate you are.

You should see Loose Change OP. It will really open your eyes about 9/11
>>
>>67251039

You watched a drama series you moron. Evidence was left out of the drama to spin a narrative, the guy is 100% guilty.
>>
he did it, but they framed him clumsily

the kid probably didn't do anything
>>
>>67252442
This. He did it they just couldn't prove it.

>redditors will defend this cat burning rapist because "MAN THE AMERIKKKAN LEGAL SYSTEM IS SO CORRUPT"
>>

Please respond. I'm open minded to whole case
>>
>>67251039
His current lawyer claims to have proof that will exonerate him.

Also, how does a guy with a below average IQ clean up all the blood that should be in the garage and on the mattress but then leave blood in the car?

What happened to the other keys that were on the victims keyring?
>>
I'm on the fence about whether he did it or not since apparently some evidence wasn't shown or the show was bias or something etc..

What really pissed me off was the retarded kid's lawyer. Blatantly just trying to fuck him over, he was basically a second prosecutor.
>>
>>67253176
>retarded kid's lawyer
What was his name again?
>>
>prosecutor admits that she wasn't killed on site when in trial against the old guy

his IQ was literally like 70
>>
hes still a scumbag(lighting a cat on fire), and the doc was bias towards him, leaving out info like his sweat being found in the car. You know its shit when they portray the victims brother as a bad guy, when he just wanted justice for his sister
>>
>I believe everything I see on a 'documentary'
>>
>>67253238
>>67253280
>evidence obtained illegally by police that were required to be escorted if on the crimescene due to bias/motive
>evidence used anyway

HOW?
>>
My understanding of the series is that the case against him just wasn't strong enough, so the cops ended up planting evidence.

More than likely he killed her outside, and burned the body in is backyard, he hid the car (badly) because he was going to wait for the heat to die down before he did anything, but they found it within a few days.

The kids testimony was the reason this case got screwed up, the cops were looking for things in places they wouldn't be. Nothing happened inside his house, he probably didn't even get to rape her.

All in all a good series on corruption though, he should be let go even though he probably did it. The kid should definitely be let go.
>>
New Yorker here:

Is everyone in the flyover states this ugly? I haven't seen a single attractive person throughout the entire documentary. Literally no one looks like this in New York or California
>>
>>67253365
>didn't even get to rape her.
Lel
>>
>>67253365
The kid was interrogated by two cops with permission from his lawyer without legal representation, his answers were different to his confession and yet it was fucking used against him anyway.

Whether they were guilty/innocent, this show made me terrified of the legal system and I'm not even in America.
Guy in my country was convicted of having fucknig lolicon on his computer.
>>
I find it extremely convenient that one particular cop kept finding all this super important evidence that everyone else missed.

Like the magic set of keys, and that single bullet fragment in the garage.
>>
Animal torturers deserve the worst tbqh.
>>
>>67253474
Yeah the whole thing was messed up. The kid was just a pawn in the whole scheme.

If it wasn't for his retarded ass story they probably would have got a real conviction against Avery. There was enough evidence to convict him, but god damn did that kids story fuck everything up.

Is it that hard to believe that Avery did it AND the cops clumsily planted evidence?

Because that's what I gathered happened from the doc alone. Avery's lawyer's theory that the cops killed the girl to fuck Avery is fucking ludicrous.
>>
>>67253853
>Avery's lawyer's theory that the cops killed the girl to fuck Avery is fucking ludicrous.

Wait I thought Avery's lawyers believed that somebody framed Avery because they knew the police wanted to fuck him, and the Police just planted the evidence on him?

So it wasn't the police who killed her, just some dude who either wanted her dead or was a psychopath, and Avery was an easy fall guy
>>
>>67253925
Not him, but I would've gone with her dying and the police planting evidence to escape the existing lawsuit currently against them from Avery. Not only does it stop them having to pay out even more, but they already had a grudge against him since they put him away before.

Assuming he's innocent of course, it's a sound motive
>>
>>67253853
>Avery's lawyer's theory that the cops killed the girl

they never said that, the implication is that they found the crimescene with the car somewhere and decided avery did it so they moved all the shit to his place
>>
>>67253851
I forgot the context of that lie.

Wasn't it something like him calling in the plates on the chick's missing vehicle before it was even found or declared missing or something?
>>
>>67254045
Yes
>>
>PI hired by kid's lawyer that tried to get a confession brought to trial
>crying on the stand about how the girl died

What a fucking scumbag
>>
>>67253977
yeah, i think that's the way it went. the way i saw it, there was so much incompetence in the handling of evidence and so much substantial stuff - not to mention the testimony of his cousin - that Avery should have at least been given another trial. there's just so much bullshit going on there something must be up. Avery seems unsavory but due process was botched in his case.
>>
>>67254342
The biggest thing for me was the punctured blood vial from the police evidence locker. That shit was too far and needs to be looked into regardless of his innocence
>>
The documentary is so biased towards the Averys that it's difficult to form an opinion based on it. In my mind, a documentary should aim to be as neutral as possible. It's supposed to be documenting facts, not presenting a story biased towards one party. Evidence and arguments presented during the trial could have been omitted from the documentary (which they were), which means they aren't presenting the facts, just select facts to manipulate what happened into a story of their choosing.
>>
>>67254686
While true, it's entirely possible to have an opinion on the way the evidence was handled, the way the lawyers acted and how the police were way out of their legal limits
>>
I watched the first episode, and every time steven or his parents etc were talking, it was playing upbeat corny country music. Every time someone came on badmouthing the guy (who is clearly redneck scum), it would play ominous bad music. Transparent as fuck. I couldn't be bothered watching a whole series of that.

t. Manitowoc County Sherrif's Department
>>
Did he do it?

If not, how come his sister's husband and Andrew Colburn lied while testifying?
How come there is blood in the car and no fingerprints (if he wore gloves blood wouldn't be dripping)?
Why isn't there any trace of Theresa in the house at all?
Why did it take the police 8 days to search the house and how did the car key suddenly appear?

Also, why did were Manitowoc county police officers eventually allowed to help in the search of the house?
>>
>>67253331
>You know its shit when they portray the victims brother as a bad guy, when he just wanted justice for his sister
I feel pretty bad for this guy. He's obviously damaged by his sisters death and close minded about the Averys, and the documentary just managed to make him look like Darth Vader. He probably gets a ton of shit in real life now.
>>
Wait a sec, didn't they use the theory that she was killed on the bed in one case, and then for the other case they said she was shot to death inside the garage?

How does the state accept two completely exclusive events as happening simultaneously?
>>
>>67251039
OP are u fkin braindead. The guy would call auto trader to have the victim come look at cars just so he could try to hit on her. Was in nothing but a towel one time she came to his door. He might have been innocent the first time he was in prison. But that changed him and made him into a monster. He is definitely guilty and should rot in prison for eternity.

The only reason the case looks suspicious like a setup is because the cops wanted to make sure this guy went away for good, wanted a for sure conviction. Fk anyone who cant come to this conclusion.
>>
I like how none of the guiltyfags have anything to say about the legitimate questions that are asked in every one of these threads.
>>
He obviously raped and killed the girl you fucking retard.

>>
>We are meant to believe that some near-retard hick managed to clean every single microscopic bit of blood out of everything on the property
>Except he somehow conveniently forgot to clean the car, despite permanently erasing all other traces of blood on the property
>Somehow a cut on his finger got his blood all over that car, but not a single fingerprint anywhere because I guess he was wearing gloves that only allowed blood through them
>Or that he didn't use gloves, erased every single fingerprint inside the car, but missed all the blood in the car
>Oh and the totally tampered with blood sample from his previous case is nothing, just ignore it guys we routinely breach blood evidence for laughs its fine don't worry

I don't know what is worse, how fucking brazen the police department was or how fucking gullible the locals were.
