Interesting dialogue and direction, this has a recipe for an interesting film, it does not deliver.
The main problem I had with the film was the lack of depth in the main character. The characters in this film didn't act like humans, but as walking convenience machines to allow Bateman to get away with his murders.
The film had potential if it reflected just a moment of character depth beyond "he has taste in the finer things in life" and "he's CUUURRRRAAZZZZYYYY" it could have been interesting, as it was it was unsatisfying and not engaging.
Poor attempt to feign depth (through dialogue, the tone of the film and especially the ending) mildly interesting on a superficial level.
