I just saw it and liked it a lot. It helps going in knowing it has nothing to do with Cloverfield, and the stuff at the end was okay but not necessary. I agree with the RLM review that it would have been a much better ending if they showed the alien craft and ended it there. I could also hardly contain my boner for MEW. 9/10 for me.
