I really like the art style of Batman Forever. Also, I like how the movie was surprisingly able to hold my attention.
I thought it was a pretty good Batman film, much better than Nolan's films desu.

It is better than the Nolan films because it keeps the mysticism and 'magic' of the Batman universe. Nolan's films are edgy hyper-realistic adaptations that try to make Batman 'too real', which is just silly.
You can check out the Nolan-Batman films, they're alright. There's nothing outrageously offensive about them, like in Batman & Robin (1997).
Kilmer is a great Bruce Wayne and and even better Batman, He was buff and fit compared to the previous manlet batman. And he had the best outfits.
Robin and twoface are the weak links.

Just everything about it bores me, I get how others like The Dark Knight Rises, Batman Begins and Batman and Robin can be considered worse. But it 's always bored me, Kilmer has such little presence, Robin is an insufferable fag, Two Face is just a poor man's Jim Carey Riddler wannabe.
Carey does an okay job as The Riddler, but it really is just Jim Carey playing Jim Carey.
I get why people could like this, but it bored me as a kid and as an adult I still can't sit through it.
kilmer is still the best wayne and the best bat so far and it's not even close
it's too bad certain other elements of the movie just couldn't measure up

I thought Kilmer did a good job. If anything, blame the lack of character development. And I thought Robin was cool. Twoface wasn't perfect but it didn't bother me.

It was the first Batman film that I saw and the one that made me fall in love with the character so that's probably why I think it's fucking awesome. Sure, there are problems, but there are also cool moments.

Batman Forever will always be my favorite. I saw it as a young child and rewatching it recently only made me appreciate aspects of it even more.

The Gotham was fucking beautiful. They took the Gothic art deco vibe of the animated series and just ran with it.

Batman begins is the best NolanBat movie.
People big up the Dark Knight because Heat Legend died after playing the Joker, if he'd not died no one would give a fuck about that movie.
Also it had Maggie Gyllenhaal in it being an annoying catty bitch. Harvey Dent's turn to Two-Face was pretty weak and didn't really play into the next film outside "Batman is tired now, no more Batman".

Batman Forever sucks. In certain ways it's worse than Batman & Robin. It's just as irritating but doesn't fully commit in the way that B&R does.
Jim Carrey as Riddler is pure diarrhea. That's what's coming out of his mouth the whole movie. It doesn't even rise to the level of the puns in B&R. At least some amount of thought was put into those.
The only good thing is the Robin family death scene. That's reasonably well done and sets up Two-Face as a good villain. It's quickly squandered though.
