Reminds me of Billion Dollar Wreck, where they literally have a one-eyed "badass" as captain and they spend half of every episode talking about how "edgy" and "action-packed" their lives are. Stuff like, "I almost died hunting for this wreck" or "my family was threatened because I came too close to THE TRUTH."
