It is really poorly done, she should've started running towards them before the throw, and the throw should've been from closer to the window, and the blond woman should've been shown grabbing the fat one's hands or sleeve or something, and the glasses woman should've been visible when the black one grabbed the blond one.
Still, you can understand whats going on, its not weird enough fro you to not be able to piece it together on the fly.

The way it looks in the trailer, Fat Black manages to run all the way across the room as Blondie falls, and then Fat White appears between them. You also can just barely see Fat White's arm as Fat Black catches Blondie, which kind of implies that she got pushed out of the way (again, in the time it takes for Fat Black to run across the room as Blondie falls).

Even if it was written by a dude, he wrote it with this intention, which at its core is the problem with the movie. It's not a female ghostbusters because these were the best crew avaliable, it's female ghostbusters for the sake of being female ghostbusters.
