Here in Germany, they showed the first season before The Strain. It was abysmal.
What was even more abysmal is that they practically cancelled the Strain mid-season by putting it at somewhere after midnight, when actual working people like me couldn't watch it anymore. Apparently, the viewing numbers were shit.

I tried to like this show, I really did. The characters are so unlikeable and make such stupid choices that I couldn't take it anymore. The adults are huge pussies, too, and let the kids just do whatever they want. The busty blond lead is the worst of all, watching her breathe heavily is the only reason I made it through a whole season.
