Seriously though, how will Marvel top this when it gets back the rights to Deadpool?

>when
How/Why the fuck would it get the rights back?
>>
It won't happen in your lifetime anyways so who cares?
>>
Hopefully Gina shows her boobies next time.
>>

In the upcoming megacorp wars, following the water wars and the European crusades.
>>
Disney/Marvel Studios has said they won't make an R-Rated superhero movie so it'd probably suck.

Also Marvel isn't getting the rights back to Deadpool anytime soon.
>>

So...was deadpool actually good?
>>
>>66802811

Nah
>>
>>66802905

Alrighty then.
>>
>>66802570

It has now made 675 million and is marching towards 700 million, only costing 58 million to make. They're never getting it back, ever.

Disney would be better off trying to buy Fox outright.
>>
>>66802811
The best capeshit since Iron Man if that means anything.
>>
Disney is a textbook example of doing things safe/by the book. They would never take a chance on one of their properties the way Fox did.

They would never shrink their demographic by making a R movie.

And a solo Deadpool PG-13 movie would be terrible, Deadpool could work as a side character in a PG-13 movie like a X-Force though since the movie wouldn't revolve around him.
>>
That will never happen but it could easily be topped by being more like Joe Kelly's run and making Deadpool more of an in depth emotional wreck of a character
>>
so thats the reason we saw no real X-Men in the movie? was kinda disappointed
>>
>>66802570
>Ryan Reynolds' highest grossing film is one where his incredibly punchable face is behind a mask or buried in prosthetics for 90% of the runtime

Gee go figure.
>>
>>66802811
Yes but you have to dial your brain inot early 2000's comedy spoof mode since this is not a superhero movie at all its a parody/meta
>>

This desu
>>
>>66802570
Literally the only way Marvel will ever get the rights back is if the entirety of Fox goes completely tits up. Or of the entire cast and crew of Deadpool died halfway through shooting a movie and they couldn't shit something out before the rights lapsed. Neither will probably ever happen.
>>
>>66803195
It was probably budget concerns. I think there's a good chance Marsden Cyclops will at least make a cameo in the next movie if Cables gonna be in it.
>>
>>66803195
No, Fox owns the X-Men, they could do whatever they wanted with it. That being said, the current X-Men movies are period pieces taking place in the 70's/80's. That's why you didn't see any of the big hitters in a present day Deadpool movie. The writers already said not to expect a Deadpool/X-Men crossover for a while.
>>
Deadpool had the best depiction of both Colossus and the Xmen costume in any movie.
>>
>>66803109
Especially when he was the heart and soul of X-Force. Fuck, it says something when that was the era of Way but it was still a good time for Deadpool.
>>
I was impressed with how they handled his acrobatics. It's a minor point in a comedy movie, but they really nailed the feeling of how Deadpool fights, it's all spin-kicks and monkey shit. They must have got a quality stunt double.
>>
>>66804415
>quality stunt double
what do you think this is, Fury Road?
>>
>>66803609
Isn't this like the second appearance of Colossus in a movie ever? Wasn't the other one like a 5 second cameo?
>>
>>66802570
They don't want Deadpool because they don't want R rated superhero movies.

Considering both X Men and Deadpool are financial successes for Fox, Marvel wont' touch them. If they were rebooted into the MCU there would be a negative reaction. The only reason why they went after Spiderman was because people didn't want Sony Spiderman, they wanted MCU Spiderman. And that's why are probably going after Fantastic Four.
