Love Bakshi's work. I have some cells from American Pop.
Always felt Peter Jackson used the animated movie as storyboards for his vision. Characters look different but some of the angles (things not in the books) have almost too much similarity.
My favorites are Coonskin and American Pop
Cool World is Baskshi's aborted child, and is probably more interesting for the story behind it rather than what was actually produced.
