I wouldn't want to pick a fight with him.

I'm proud of moot

>BECOMING A GOOGLE EMPLOYEE
>NOT HAVING YOUR COMPANY BOUGHT OUT BY GOOGLE
DOING IT WRONG M8

Mixed. He's obviously divorced himself from 4chan and is a free man, can do whatever he wants to do with his life, etc, etc.
But I can't help but feel a little bit, I don't know, not quite "betrayed" but somewhere along those lines. 4chan has been the most prominent proponent of online anonymity and (more or less) a model site for anonymous discussion in the western world, so it seems weird for its founder to sign on to work with one of the most notorious privacy invaders on the planet.
I get the feeling he hates 4chan despite making it though.

So is moot like the really badass person on that team when all the others are all straight laced, by the book types?
>>66796918
More like moot is the poor little white guy in the middle of a bunch of guys who haven't mastered the use of a toilet.
>>66794135
Holy shit, just realised that moot looks a lot like Jesse Eisenburg
>>66797030
Jessie will play moot in the inevitable biography, Memes and Teens.
MMM
>>66796775
Christopher Poole was paid. I'm making a sacrifice.
>>66794135
>implying this isn't just a front
moot has been CIA since 2005
>>66794135
He gotta track down all those /b/tards now. Tis dangerous times.
/pol/ was right again

He did his best to monetize this site without ruining what it's all about.
Think about it like an elite athlete who played his whole career with one team but could never win a championship because of reasons that were beyond his own doing. And then in his final season or two he leaves to go to a contender and finally wins the big one. It's not fair to hold leaving against him and you can only be happy to see him finally lift that trophy.
>>66797677
>trophy
>>66797805
Trophy = money
The only reason moot left 4chan is because he couldn't monetize it like other websites that have large traffic.
>>66797677
ehhhh you're making a false analogy. It's more like
>be elite athlete playing whole career with a team that never wins due to events that are beyond your control. Yet he always plays fair
>quit the orignal, perpetually losing team
>join a team that cheats constantly but always wins
he betrayed all of his interests with the first team (4chan) to join the winning team (Google)
That said, I'm happy for moot now that he'll be rolling in dat skrill skrill mayne
>>66797922
The only difference between what i said and you said is that you think he betrayed 4chan while I don't.
After all these years he didn't owe 4chan a thing.
Wtf moot you sell out cuck
Sellout
>>66797871
HE'S NOT MONETIZING SHIT AT GOOGLE, JUST GETTING A PAYCHECK
HALF DECENT GOOGLE SOFTWARE ENGINEERS GET PAID MORE THAN THEIR PRODUCT MANAGERS
THE IDEA IS BUILD A STARTUP AND GET BOUGHT OUT BY GOOGLE, THATS TROPHY
What is he doing at google? He has like 0 IT/Software skills, and all of his entrepreneurial ideas (canvas, draw quest) have been massive failures. Why would anyone hire that hack?
>>66798201
someone needs to tidy up the beds and do the laundry for all the other hardworking employees
>moot going onto heaps of success while 4chan slowly folds and goes offline
What a ride.
>>66794135
Well moot just stole 2chans code so that means I should put in my application.I'm proud of him and he deserves his money for once.
I always knew he was into boys MMMMMMM
>>66798200
Why are you so angry? He's getting paid more at Google than he was with 4chan. Considering he did all he could to profit from 4chan I'd say settling with what he has with Google now is a good win.
>>66798352
I don't want this place to die though ;__;
>>66797252
Did he feel in charge?
Kek
>>66794135
>Comparing Moot to Lex Luthor
It always makes me a bit angry how everyone hates 4chan but doesn't know a thing about it. The most he contributed to the shit people hate about this place is creating the lax moderation policies.
>>66798653
brilliant
>>66794135
>"DUDE MOOT IS A SUPERVILLAIN LOLZ"
Seriously? Moot just started a website, it's not his fault people on here are assholes.

now he's the weird kid in the google offices
>>66799044
>moot will eventually feel stifled by the environment and the personalities of the people there
>moot will eventually have an on-camera meltdown throwing his keyboard and shrieking double-nigger at everyone in sight
Can't wait tbqh
>>66796853
He was obviously in the process of doing it. That's why we have captchas, 4chan passes which let you bypass captcha, etc. The passes don't actually stop the captchas, like a if-else statement. Rather, they confirm your IP to Google as human so they know you're definitely worth tracking and not fucking up the information pool.
Moot probably couldn't find a way to flip this place besides milking off the user data, and Google probably didn't want to be attached to us either. They just wanted the information on this website.
>yfw sjws get butthurt and they fire him
>>66800576
That would be ironic considering the kind of person moot actually is.
>>66800615
A queasily but intelligent coward that bows to pressure while sliding from under?
Moot isn't a super-villain, it isn't his fault that he created a hive of villainy and inequity the likes not seen since Mos Eisely.
>>66796853
>wanting 4chan to get bought by google
Fuck off
>>66794135
The fuck is a moot and who cares?
>>66800576
Jesus, that's beautiful. Is he fucking her anus?
>>66796889
Huh. Sounds like my dad.
>>66800765
What are captchas?
