eh, I'm sure it was at one point but Stern they definitely came into their own thing which was really just a hangout.
I like both shows at any rate. people shit on Stern a lot but I like his interviews. the mass speculation on his life on certain sites is always entertaining though.

now i realize he was just a piece of shit. thats what made stern great, but i can understand their frustration

I really wanted to like it, because I like Jim, but it's just so bad on so many levels. It's really not funny... it's structured very oddly (5 minutes episodes?) and he overall doesn't really seem to know what direction the show is going to go in. I felt like the first 'full' episode wasn't TOO bad. it kind of played like an obscure old RPG to me for whatever reason. I feel like Chip Chipperson would make a better Conker's Bad Fur Day esque game than a cartoon.
I do feel bad for little Jimmy a bit. Less than a week left and he's only made 29% of his goal and the general response has just been pretty bad from what I've seen. Everything he puts ups gets more dislikes than likes. I think he majority underestimated how much people like Chip. I would have preferred to see a show with all of his characters included but it seems he put all his eggs into Lyle's basket.

Anthony is genuinely funny--and so is jim.
Opie is hardly ever funny--and a fine example of why you don't give the nerd power.
