This is why I don't care nor look at how close the movie gets its camera angles just like the game played out, nor that it gets the exact video game film because these are fucking movies and NOT GAMES!!

In my mind: video game movies are half made for those who never played the game, same way movies based off books are half made for those who never read the book!
Hence to make a good video game movie, it is the same way as how you would make a movie based off a book.
My mother loved the original Silent Hill movie and she isn't a gamer. So many love LOTR and they are not book readers.

None. Most videogames either have a barebones story sufficient to justify the gameplay or simply rip off one or more movies.

No shit video games are going to have story elements that are similar or lifted directly from certain movies. Movies have been around for much longer than video games.
And what you're saying really isn't a great argument against a video game being turned into a decent movie. Most modern movies are comprised entirely of story elements that have already been in thousands of movies, and many of these derivative movies have received high praise.
