has there ever been a more emotionally moving tv show?
I liked first season.
Didn't watch second one, because I couldn't stand too many blacks, also the black baby on white parents is disgusting too.

This show just makes me feel depressed. So to answer your question, probably.
I'm worried about what season 3 might do. Season 1 ad 2 were GOAT.
>>66713495
Lindelof is involved so be very afraid
>>66713426
both seasons?
Season 1 is definitely more morose than 2 I think. I find 2 just deeply moving in a way that allows me to feel strongly connected to the pain the characters are going through but that also feels somehow redemptive. It's more sad than depressing to me I guess.
The emotions of young adults are pretty easy to manipulate, so yes, probably.
>>66713529
was he not involved in 1 and 2?
>>66713495
I am too but I'm confident. It sounds like Lindelof is pretty assured in recent interviews about where he wants the show to go. I'm really glad there will be a proper ending.
>>66713385
Considering watching it. The fuck's it about.
>>66713603
just watch it stupid
>>66713426
I watched it, but honestly don't understand the hype around it. Every scene intended to be moving is started by a minute long piano-solo, which became extremely jarring after the third occasion, they totally killed the Pixies song. Also half of the problems they face could be solved easily if they wouldn't behave completely retarded
>>66713385
What did the National Geographic magazine mean?
>>66713640
Yeah let me invest upwards of 6 hours of my time to determine what show is about or is it any good.
>>66713811
OK that sounds like a good idea
Thanks for letting me know
>>66713709
Just crazy people being crazy
I just want sarcastic chipmunk to come back
>>66713694
>Also half of the problems they face could be solved easily if they wouldn't behave completely retarded
Why can't people just act logically in the middle of a existential supernatural crisis, like ugh!
Season 2 was the wildest ride I've ever been on. By the time Kevin got killed by a nigger for the second time I was cursing. Wew lad
>>66713421
you're disgusting
>>66714142
this tbqh
>>66714205
>existential supernatural crisis
Which they had a fucking year to deal with

>>66713385
has there been a bigger pile of shit?
spoiler:no
>>66714559
t. basketball american
>>66714810
yes
t. you
>>66714942
Not that guy but you're really beta to drop a show like this for that particular reason
>>66714996
I'm not used to seeing blacks and I don't want to.
They disgust me, simple as that.
>>66714612
It was all a dream
I certainly can't think of a more emotionally moving tv show. I don't think the leftovers gets nearly enough love, definitely one of the best shows I've watched in a very long time.
Why were the girls in S2 running naked thru the woods?
>>66715725
to make it seem they were raptured
>>66713385
Why are american walls so weak bros?
>>66715749
Why did they join the cult?
>>66715812
autism
>>66715812
Evie was depressed as fuck because of her home situation, can't remember the other reasons
S2 was great up until they ruined it with Kevin literally going to the Afterlife.
It should have stayed just his hallucination and not actually really supernatural.
But the whole "Orphan's Well" thing confirmed it.
Which was dumb.
So much of the show is about how there are no explanations. All our attempts to understand anything is futile.
But Kevin having a real supernatural moment disregards that and gives him a pipeline on the Truth, when the Truth should be unknowable.
>>66714612
She wasn't actually though, right?
>>66716088
Maybe?
She seemed to have said it tauntingly, but Kevin did a lot of shit when he was asleep
>>66715038
I salute you bro
>>66716111
Yeah, I thought she said it to hurt Jill for even suggesting she'd actually have sex with her dad. But now I'm not so sure.nice trips
>lindelof
It's not going to end well. Or at all until the ratings drops. And when it does end it will make no sense.
This is the dumbfuck that thinks mystery=unexplained bullshit.
>>66716257
It's based on a book, so Lindy can't fuck it up that much right?
>>66716303
He'll find a way, he always does. Probably when they run out of material to adapt he'll "take a hand at it," and ruin everything.
>>66716303
Book plot was finished in the first season. 2nd season was completely original.
>>66716257
They better never explain the Departure though.
There can never be an answer to that just because it'd ruin so much what the show is going on about now.
The show is about suffering in ignorance.
To give the characters an explanation will make them able to heal and move on.
>>66716423
Well good thing it's finishing in S3.
Maybe we can be lucky for two seasons.
>>66716429
>They better never explain the Departure though.
Pretty certain they aren't

Kevin at the hotel were GOAT episodes
Yes, Dawson's Creek
>>66715957
S2 was unwatchable garbage until the hotel stuff.
>>66717158
>>66717316
It was fine but bordered on jumping the shark by making it too "real".
Like the Orphan's Well thing.
