Best episode:
Biters
Monster myths
Zombies
Predators
Killers
Based af show, also pretty spooky with the old school monster footage
YOU WOULDN'T WANT ONE OF THESE IN YOUR BACKYARD
Earth is a planet of extremes... Extreme places...
AND EXTREME ANIMALS
>>66626203
This desu.
I work nights, while my wife works mornings, and she leaves animal planet on for the dogs during the day so it's always on by the time I get up. All it is now is some "top 20" style clip show to determine the "baddest dog", reruns of dog/cat101, and Pitbulls and Parolees (only reason I even watch the channel anymore)
>dem 3D female animations to demonstrate female animal behaviors
>>66626261
BUT SOME ANIMALS ARE MORE EXTREME THAN OTHERS
>>66626261
You mean eXtreme. Xtremne would also be acceptable. XXX
HOLY shit this show was based
I remember when the beetle won strongest animal
>Scaling all statistics linearly with size
This show was shit
>>66626192
What were the comfiest animal planet shows?
I'm thinking
>most extreme
>jeff corwin experience
>crocodile hunter
>animal face-offthat Bear vs alligator fight was bullshit tho
If you think about it, in a way, The Most Xtreme is just like a really kid-friendly version of this.
>>66626420
>>crocodile hunter
RIP in peace
>>66626452
It really isn't desu senpai, different subject
I remember the rip off of TME on animal planet that wasn't nearly as based
>>66626411
Fuck off faggot
>>66626420
>animal face-off
I dont seem to remember this.
I loved Untamed and Uncut. My favorite one was of a guy going up behind a parade horse, smacking it on the ass, and then getting his fucking shit kicked in.
also
>Meerkat Manor
>Big Cat Diaryused to watch it with me stepbrother everyday after school
plus the ones you named
>>66626479
meh, I guess I relate the two since the production makes it look kinda 3dgy and corny but in a good way
hey guys
>>66626452
Most Xtreme was educational and always interesting. 1000 Ways to Die was just reenactments of retards getting themselves killed and got old very quickly. Only thing they had in common was the CG modelling.
>>66626420
Holy shit, that brings me back.
Jeff Corwin experience was GOAT
bump to keep this beautiful thread alive.
LIKE THE BUMBLBEE, WHO CAN SURVIVE ENTIRE WINTERS BY FREEZING UP AND THEN THAWING BACK OUT IN THE SPRING.
AND THAT'S WHY THE BUMBLEBEE IS THE MOST-pause-EXTREME
>>66626192
I always thought it was super cool how they used old clips from PD horror and scifi movies and actually made them look creepy af. Often better than the actual movies
>>66626603
I hated this fucker. Always had to watch him during indoor recess.
>>66626192
Oh my god I remember this show, I was addicted to it. I didn't know it was so popular and part of other anons' lives too.
I know it isn't animal planet, but this is the comfiest educational animal show ever.too bad the lemur died ;-;
>>66627472
fuck me, I forgot the photo.
>>66627504
>>66627472
A friend of mine from high school studies biology at Duke, she got to work with him in the lemur lab before he died
>>66627633
damn, must have been a great experience
>>66626192
my childhood right there

>>66626192
One of those shows I would watch for hours on days when I was too sick to go to school or when school was cancelled. Based af.

Thanks OP, I watched that series when I was younger, but never knew what was the English, original title. The opening alone is a pretty nostalgic, I'm surprised
was this the only AP waifu around?
>>66628106
>you now remember Discovery Kids
>you now remember the show about those kids in the plane crash
>you now remember the show about the girl with a pet feathered dinosaur
>you now remember that weird show about a bunch of kids doing science, there was some weird mystery going on and I think time travel was involved
>>66626219
ah yes, that comfy sarcastic voice from the 2000's
>>66628106
My first waifu.
God I'd love to watch this again
>>66626192
>Watched a documentary about termites last night
Apparently they know how to build a type of roads and highway like system. Or maybe that was the ant documentary, either way it was really cool.
I'm getting a boner from this music

What the fuck happened to Animal Planet man...
I used to stay all night just watching Animal Face Off and Extreme Animals, now it's just some bullshit cats and "funny" videos...
What the fuck happened with Discovery Network as a whole actually, the 2000's shit was gold and now we only have cringe worthy shows...
>>66629387
PitBulls and Parolees is good but it's literally the only thing worth watching on the channel, and if you're not into reality shows then you're fucked.
>>66629218
FFFFFFFFFFFFFF
>>66629218
There's nothing more nostalgic for me than this intro
>>66626603
I had the endangered/extinct animals episode on VHS and saw it a million times
>>66626192
Bump from the dead
Back when educational tv was kinda badass, was my favorite show as a preteen
>>66626280
Did you ever get to watch it with her son?
>>66626456
