Oh my. If only they thought of doing a time skip after Ragner's death to the Great Heaten Army, and based the show on his childrens' quest to avenge him. They could even keep Ragnar's actor around by having him haunt their dreams/visions as the Danes ravage England. Until the child of Applestan defeats them one day. That sure would make for an interesting show and allows for the resolution of Ragnar's and Applestan's arc in a creative way.
