Meh. They don't really reference it in the show except for a throwaway line in a later episode. Realistically that episode would have fucked Picard up for a good long while. Imagine if you woke up tomorrow and you learned that your entire life up until now has been a lie and that you're actually a starship captain with an android and a milf doctor. it would fuck you up.
