I love how Dre depicted himself in Straight Outta Compton because it was the complete opposite of how he actually was. Dre in SOC was this cool, nice emotional guy but in reality, Dre was a woman beating, alcoholic asshole. Hell, he even made sure to skip over his diss song to Eazy E.

Straight Outta Compton was the most thoroughly average film I have ever seen in my life. It was nothing more than OK. None of the characters had any depth or any semblance of an arc, except Easy E. That guy ran the movie, whereas Dre and Ice Cube seemed to be pre-approved versions of the real life people. It almost seemed like Dr. Dre paid for this movie to be made for his own public image since it depicts him like the coolest guy ever and a boy scout.
