I think most people haven'tseen it, but are inclined to wantto hate it based on it's subject matter. It's association with new SNL and WWE are insant targrts and it's easier to hate something than give it a chance. Defending this movie is a fulltime job.

This. There is no one on the planet capable of committing to a one-note joke the way he can. That's not meant as a backhanded compliment either, he seriously goes all out trying to squeeze humor out of everything.
Comedy is one of those things that can't be critiqued because it's the most subjective out of any genre of films

MacGruber is the best (and only good) SNL movie since Waynes World.
