Army Of Darkness took a huge risk by taking a gonzo horror franchise with comedic elements and taking it into the realm of slapstick comedy. It payed off and became a classic. T3 took no risks and tried in every conceivable way to be a clone of the second. Your comparison is flawed.

Arguing between t1 and t2 is pointless since they're different movies, but fuck, this tech noir scene is an incredible example of pacing, editing and sound mixing. burning in the third degree slowly fades out into that terminator heartbeat theme, just chilling
