I remember the scene when it goes to first person mode being a nice idea, decently executed. It was a shit movie that had nothing to do with carnage or metalhead satanistic imagery games were known for. Karl Urban was the perfect casting.
Love the original games dearly. This shat all over the source material but it's still a guilty pleasure for me. Same with the Resident Evil movies.
It was a decent action movie, and that first person shit was cool, regardless of how cheesy it was.

I used to watch the shit out of this movie when I was 6 and I usually watch it whenever Halloween comes around. The new ones are pretty trash though which is disappointing.
