what masterpiece have you latest experienced, friends?
Experimental kinography
kino = cinema
It's just a meme word redditors find funny
What did you guys think of this film?
I thought it was pretty great, but I was really confused by the ending. It seemed pretty random. What was the point of the ending?

It's all a memr friend
Your thoughts on the greatest kino of this century?
>>64706884
Zvezdani ratovi: Osveta sita, fantastic film.
>>64706884
jesus christ almighty that movie was shit
What's your favorite Ozu film?
Late Spring and Tokyo Story are both incredible but I found Early Summer the easiest to watch because it's much less heavy handed.

>>64707352
Ozu is just a poor man's Teshigahara
>Demons (1971)
Grimdark samurai film oozing with bleak atmosphere and it's great.
Essential viewing for those who enjoy Japanese New Wave.

>no memes on his camera roll
Confirmed for pleb.
>>64707876
the memes are in my first short. they lead my character to revolt and protest the state of things.
>Finsterworld
A dark satire about how people fail to communicate and about german zeitgeist in general.
Style wise it's a bit like Lynch meets Wes Anderson meets P.T. Anderson.

I was born, but...
I've only seen 5 and that strikes me as the best so far
Watched this yesterday, what a beautiful masterpiece. Chris Marker was a genius.

Dumbass
Found where Hanneke got his shtick
What does /tv/ think about Festen (and the Dogme 95 movement in general)? I tried making a thread about it but it got like three replies and 404'd
>>64708025
sorry, but that movie was shit.
>>64708186
The only D95 decent film imo

The Man Who Sleeps (1971)
It was on essential r9k movies list and I was surprised, it was very well shot for such a minor French movie. Its like if Last Year at Marienbad was about an autistic neet from the 60s
>>64707967
this looks interesting.
>>64708025
GODDAMN FUCKING FURRIES
>>64708186
I was a fan of that movement back in the 90s. It had a certain punk appeal and it really brought some unique movies into life. The concept seems a bit outdated these days but I appreciate every move that still focuses more on the characters and an original story rather than a polished set design and cinematography.
>>64707169
I prefer Vojna Zvezd: Fantomska Prikazen myself.
It's the definition of true Kino experience.
Revenge of the Sith
>>64707854
This sounds interesting.
>>64707101
It had good graphics for a video game.
>>64708186
Julien Donkey-Boy is one of the most personal visions I've ever seen put to the screen
Saw the new restoration of this on the big screen last night.
Best shakespeare adaptation ever, and one of the better moviegoing experiences of my life.
>>64708186
fantastic character study
the dream sequence is beautiful too
>>64708289
It isn't as good as it should have been but I'll post here when it's finished. The sound is shit and I can't afford color correction at the moment. The feature I want to do based on Elliot Rodgers is going to use 4chan in a more fluid and better way, I'm excited. I have a lot of other projects ahead though so we'll see...
>>64706998
it's just a slav word for cinema
>>64708408
Nice. Looking forward to the criterion release. Only watched a really bad bootleg.
>>64708374
I really liked it and thought it had some really amazing humor too. I am always amazed how many people don't get how much dark humor can be founnd in Korine's work.
>>64706998
Nope.
>tfw still no remastered copy of A Idade da Terra
Posting some stills of this amazing essay-film.
>>64706998
film VS cinema VS movie is real
kino, flick, joint, etc were added by those made insecure about the differences
Its like when "fedoracore" first showed up on this board and then those that fell under it spammed it for everything

>film VS cinema VS movie is real
no it isn't you autist
