But contrary to what some other posters have said, I NEVER want to see this movie again. It was fantastic, yes, but the gore was so well done it made me squirm in my seat.
I would turn to look away at some moments, and see the 2 people I saw it with looking away as well. It was very well done. It never really felt overdone, because every injury and fight scene had a weight to it that made it feel real.
Like, no shit, it's a fuckin' movie. We all know this. But when I want to avert my eyes because it feels real, you know it's just well done.

I just got back from it an hour ago and was really underwhelmed, and I'm wondering what I missed. Tom Hardy and his character were amazing, but Leo and his struggles were almost completely uninteresting to me. I liked a lot of the scenes individually, but as a whole the film just didn't move me at all.

The film doesn't give you much to speculate on.
Most of the scenes are very literal. Stuff happens and it doesn't mean anything else. Most scenes told almost nothing knew about Leo's character, and for the most part there wasn't enough information about leo's character to speculate in the first place.
A lot of the visuals were cool and some of the stuff that happened was cool, but it wasn't really the sort of movie that makes you think a lot.
