There had been tens if not hundreds of thousands of black people, current and freed slaves 100 years previously in London alone.

Liberals now say that Europe was "always multicultural".

You can't make this shit up. People spewing this shit need to ask themselves about how multicultural this world was if the average Brit went through his entire life seeing like three nigs.

Average Brit=/=Average Londoner.

For one, the average Brit had designated shitting streets back then.

There was so much stupid shit in Pan, yet people focus on the two music scenes that actually worked.

Yeah Peter Pan was set in the 1904, so why set a prequel in the 30's.
>>
>>64630954
Wrong way round mate, london had designated shitting streets, the average brit buried it, you know that's why its the green and pleasant land.
>>
>>64632108
Timey wimey.

>yfw Pan actually tried to get the Darlings to stay in Neverland because he knew the horrors they'd go through during WWI
>>
>>64632409
Yeah I knew the circlejerk they did to explain it, I just don't understand why they decided to. I imagine it happened like this
>So peter starts off at an orphanage in world war II
>But the original was set in the early 1900s
>Oh well the pirates can time travel
>Why?
>So we can have the pirate ship fly past the bomber planes like in the disney cartoon one.
>The disney fucking SEQUEL
>Yeah
>So you want to give your peter pan prequel a convoluted timetravel backstory just so you can have a 3 minute rip off of a critically panned disney sequel.
>No... I also want the pirate Blackbeard in it and for him to sing Smells Like Teen Spirit.
>Why?
>>

Just watched this movie last night. It was basically The Matrix Meets Harry Potter. Other than the tinkerbell part it didn't feel like a peter pan movie.
>>
>>64632802
Nah its England mate.
Ireland's green but it isn't pleasant
>>
>>64630391
There has to be an end to this.
2,000,000 more invaders to Germany next year will heat things up.
Then all we need is an economic crisis that causes the welfare state to collapse and we'll have a civil war.
Nationalist governments will come to power and we can finally stop putting diversity in every fucking film just for the sake of it.
>>
>>64632979
Was tinkerbell even in it
>>
>>64632677
>So you want to give your peter pan prequel a convoluted timetravel backstory

Yeah, it sure adds a lot of time-related confusion when you have the main character come from a couple of years later than previously thought, before he gets whisked away on a flying pirate ship and meets indians. It's definitely more confusing than making him an actual fairy-child, long lost prince and the chosen one.

The pirates should always have been a tip-off to time not being as it should be in Neverland.
>>
What the fuck were they thinking? It's not Moulin Rouge.

Neverland is supposed to make you quasi immortal, its implied peter could be really really old, the time travel aspect kind of spoils this. Especially since he hasn't even been born during the original if you take this shit's shit lore.
Plus it shits on the original in other places as well, Hook for example.
>>
>>64633160
1939 is technically the 1930's
>>
>>64633232
Maybe he didn't know even that? If he's from a western country it's understandable. People who know history there only know that Hitler attacked Poland and WWII happened. Don't know about any details. River Plate was also in 1939.
Of course the only significant thing that happened in Britain at that time was a power shortage.

September, 1939 is about as 1930 as $19.98 is $10.00.
>>
>>64633398
it could be 1939 December 31st 11:59 it's still in the 1930s
>>
>>64633030
Yeah tinkerbell was in the movie for like 5 seconds then peterpan becomes John Murdoch from Dark City. The entire time I was watching the movie I felt like I was just watching parts taken from other movies. And they didn't really take them in a way where they seamlessly incorporated them into the plot. There were some original moments too. I'd give it a 5.5 to 6/10 but so much of the shit was just off. Plagurism aside, Tiger Lily was a definite miscast for reasons more than race, but on that subject, why the fuck was tiger lilly white and her dad aboriginal? There was just so much goofy shit in this otherwise decent movie. Least peter panish peterpan movie I've ever seen though.
>>
>>64633549
>why the fuck was tiger lilly white and her dad aboriginal?

They saw the name Tiger Lily and focused entirely on the Lily part.
>>
>>64633517
Except WW2 took place in in the 40's. So still, technically you're right but anyone who says WW2 was a war of the 30's is wrong. Absolutely wrong.

WWII took place in the 30s and 40s no matter how you look at it.
