Estimated travel time of Voyager at the start of the series was 70 years going home, from 70 000 lightyears away. That would require Warp 1000 by your count, and that's not including the fact that if you reach Warp 10, you effectively become H2G2's Heart of Gold, and pass through every point in spacetime simultaneously. Warp is insanely fast, but it's not that simple.

Picard probably had the best ship out of the docks.
Janeway with her armored pimped out end game version of voyager had the best ship, even though it started out as a research ship.
My favourite is Captain Archers Enterprise though because of the dinky quaintness of it all. It feels like it's outclassed by pretty much everything else in the galaxy. Primo underdog story.
Also, to all of you star wars fans, come on. I like star wars but thats like a horse vs nuclear powerd submarine.

The problem with the Star Wars vs Star Trek shit is that without proper guidelines for the fight, you just don't know, because both sides have some major advantages over the other, and both sides have some major weaknesses. Then it more or less comes down it being whoever decides the guidelines has already decided the fight.
Is it single ship vs single ship? Is it the Empire vs the Federation? Is it the entire Star Wars universe vs the entire Star Trek universe? Are in universe enemies allied for this fight? Does the force work outside of the Star Wars universe? Is Q, or any of the other godlike beings Kirk faced involved in the battle? Can Tribbles use the force? There are just too many unknowns.
I love both universes, and have always thought that this fight was stupid. Fun, but stupid.
