What went wrong?
>>
Not much.
I thought it was pretty good. Thought they would do more with the showdown scene, but overall I liked it.

Who would let the hot dogs run down, how dogs should always be available
>>
Honestly it's the pacing of the movie. He seduces old Bond girl after two words and murdering people. Falls in love with dr Bond girl after 20 minutes and she falls in love too. The movement from one thing to the next was just too fast. Which made things not too believable for me
>>
>>64608721
snorefest.

what's the deal with the sheboon sidekick?
>>
They ran out of ideas, jokes, witty stuff, Blofeld was shit, it felt like an amateur production and not a real canon Bond movie.

Shitty Villans

SPECTRE are built up as this cool, Illuminati esque secret society but they fail in literally everything they set out to accomplish;
they don’t blow up the stadium,
they don’t get to Mr White,
they let Bond to easily infiltrate their secret meeting,
they let Bond beat them to Dr Swann,
they let Bond easily win/escape on multiple occasions,
they let Bond blow up their base
their shitty master plan is easily sabotaged

Waltz has the same problem as Khan in Into Darkness. We're supposed to give a shit about him just because he dresses the same/ has the same name as a classic villan we recognise. The writers must have realised that he doesnt actually do anything so they lazilly try and have him piggyback off the acheivements of previous villans. His grand survelliance plan is boring and underwhelming. He already has cameras in MI6 headquarters, what more can he need?

C sucks, it's obvious from the start that he's evil and he has zero motivation beyond working for Blofeld. His plot is totally disconnected from the rest of the film until the last third when it suddenly becomes the main focus.

Bautista was good though, he made a great heavy, but he died too early so I guess they fucked that up too

way too long

So than would you say the newest Mission Impossible was better /tv/?
>>
>>64609350
damn nigga you here everyday or what?
>>
>>64610940

Lane was certainly a better Blofeld and the Syndicate was certainly a better version of SPECTRE.

>That forgettable bespectacled cuck with no jaw
>Better than based Herr Waltz

>Nebulous evil organization Hunt has been tracking apparently been chasing for years despite it never once being hinted at before and apparently rests entirely on one guy
>Better than SPECTRE
>>
Batista had such potential to be an awesome Bond goon, but they just turned him into generic thug man.
>>
>>64611727

It's not my fault Mendes fucked up both so much, don't blame me for stating the obvious.

>Better then based Waltz

He didn't do shit the entire movie. He was the most underwritten, nothing Bond villain since Khan from Octopussy.

Lane was at least shown to be smart, even if it was through the power of keikaku layered planning nonsense. Blofeld was nothing, even Waltz couldn't save it and he managed to save The Green Hornet movie.
