I mean, the movie is dogshit but I get the distinct impression that this guy has heard these tropes/buzzwords that you could apply to TFA and has decided to dislike the movie without really knowing why those things are detrimental to a story.
I imagined anyone who disliked it did so because of their own personal reaction to it, not because it featured a particular set of tropes.
I'd argue this movie could have actually been good even if they kept Rey as a Mary-Sue, though perhaps toned-down a little. Identifying tropes in a movie/tv show does not automatically make it bad

The movie had a ton of shitty tropes making the movie overall shitty. Not to mention a lot of stuff doesn't make sense either and there's no emotional impact anywhere in the movie. On top of that, it didn't even feel like a Star Wars movie. It felt like a Marvel movie with le quirky humour and quips with some lightsabers in there.
