As more and more Batman movies are shat out, my respect for original Tim Burton's Batman from 1989 raises more and more.
Burton really shat upon himself in the last 15 years(to the point I cant even name 2 good movies he made in that period, maybe Big Fish) but original Batman is his legacy, Batman all other Batmen will be compared with.
Batman should have cooling period of 10 years, trilogy, then 10 years on ice, because that is the time needed that good scrip falls into good hands and producers actually give free hands to director to do what Batman should be:dark,little edgy, Gothic, crime story with believable ,yet over the top action and gadgets.
And Superman, as much as he is iconic superhero, his place is in the past.
Its impossible to do rebirth of a hero whos fans are either dead or really old people who just dont give a fuck anymore.
Heroes for this gen are Deadpool and the like, Superman and Captain America worked when being an American was a cool thing, now, it's just a reminder how big can fall really low.
