I think whenever a show runs long enough people just lose interest regardless of quality. I don't think Sunny's quality has declined at all in the 10 years we've seen, and I say that as someone that lost interest around Season 4. Sometime after that season I stopped watching it regularly and just couldn't be bothered to pick it back up, probably watching no more than a handful of eps. Then season 7 rolled around and I just jumped right back in and when I went back and rewatched those seasons completely, I realized how good they actually were. For some reason I only remembered the bad eps which to be fair the show averages only 2 or maybe 3 a season, even the longer ones.

So tl;dr, people might say some seasons suck but overall the quality is definitely consistent. Yes that means the later ones too.

Fair point. In conjunction with that I'd say I don't know if I'll ever enjoy it to the same degree again. When I first watched the show I was really enamored with it, but now I sometimes can't tell if I think an episode is bad, or if I'm not into it like I was before.
