What happened my fellow Britons?
Back in the 70's, 80's and to a lesser degree the early 90's we had some GOAT comedy shows.
Now all we have is American imports or boring ass situational comedies where middle class people just stand around looking awkward.
I can't even think what the last good British comedy was.

Toast Of London is GOAT
I can't even remember the last time I gave any new sitcom a chance. Every advert is either some retro 70's style bawdy fixed camera piece of trash or a bunch of trendy 20 somethings being quirky and saying memes that haven't been funny for years.

Last one I gave a go was peep show and that's been around for near a decade.
I got some amusement from it, but I do find David Mitchell to be such a fucking autist at times, and his wife is full of shit when she's on question time.

its not just a british thing, its always sunny is the only good sitcom at the moment
>>64403790
as a british person, ive watched a couple episodes of its always sunny,
are we liking it unironically? is the over the top, juvenile humour just a thing to laugh at, not with? i dont know what to make of it, because the jokes are what kids would laugh at
