Honestly, take out all the small things people hated about this movie (the Bat Nipples, the gay jokes, the ice puns, etc.) and you'd be left with a pretty "meh" movie. I feel like half the reason everyone hated this was because people were accustomed to the really dark and gritty portrayals of Batman via shit like The Dark Knight Returns, the Tim Burton movies, and Batman: The Animated Series; people didn't want to see the 1960s Adam West Batman being brought back because the image of Batman that Frank Miller painted had already been so ingrained in the collective mind and seemed to have made more sense. This movie was released at the wrong place and at the wrong time.
