episode 8 script is making its rounds
act 1kylo trains under snoke, rey trains under luke, ireland planet is called achto
land assault
poe and finn and the resistance attack the remaining first order base
hux gets captured and not killed because he says he wants to cooperate
phasma and her troops rebel and leave the planet after she sees hux surrender
phasma says tfo is no more and they join forces with a new villain called livius, an imperial politician who is related (?) to phasma
luke is reluctant to work with leia (explained later) but returns to d'qar to help her
act 2luke interrogates hux, learns something (not revealed what)
luke is described as deranged and barely holding himself
also, luke is angry because he was the one who teached these things to snoke (unexplained why)
snoke earlier posed as a normal person (like the emperor) and infiltrated lukes academy
leia was training as a jedi before, but she was tempted by the dark side, asked luke to wipe her memory of all his teachings (unexplained where it goes, might be explored in episode 9)
in the meantime the pirates create a blockade around the planet (they werem eant to protect it but something changed), leia talkes them out of it, but not without an action sequence
act 3snoke first wants to find lukes former students and supporters for "some" reason
with help of maz kanata and luke the resistance pinpoint locations where the students might be hiding
heroes go on a mission to sulltus (spelling?) to save them from an alderaan refugees enclave
luke is angry again, because it must have been leias idea to get all his former students in one place (she governs the enclave) and hes dissapointed in her
heroes are too late, students are all dead, killed by phasma and her troops
phasma explains that they are no longer working with tfo and were paid to do this job

phasma escapes to livius
act 4luke stays in the resistance base to guard hux, senses some retaliation is coming.
its only kylo. kylo fucks the entire base up until luke faces him
luke doesn't even take out the lightsaber, he teleports from place to place and fucks with kylos mind with words, psychological shit etc.kylo says luke abandoned rey as a child, that he abandoned her daughter
luke says rey isn't his daughter and that his daughter is deadkylo is panicked and changes his plans, so instead of saving hux he decides to kill him
kylo kills hux, luke is "in agony over this deed", but he lets kylo escape
snoke is mad at kylo, because hux was apparently singlehandedly responsible for the whole tfo/political facade "we dont need the first order anymore"
kylo says that by killing hux he saved a huge secret from getting into lukes hands, snoke is happy with that reasoning

I remember 1-2 months before VII's release a pretty damn detailed leak was floating around /tv/ incorporating images, and using merchandise and stuff as evidence. It wound up being extremely accurate, but when did that come out exactly?

Details based on an early draft leaked like in early 2014, very few things made it to the final product of ep. 7. We learned finn was a stormtrooper, and originally jakku was tattooine. We learned lukes lightsaber would be a major part of the plot like in the movie. However, those leaks were minor and not major so it was assumed people leaked it from the set
