Should certain film franchises be sacred?
Are there any that truly are?

What the fuck is he talking about?

The trials and tribulations of autism.
It isn't easy.

Thanks for fueling my austin powers x James bond fanfic
>>64301586
How they couldn't have humor and jokes in James Bond anymore because Austin Powers.
>>64301532
>need to justify why our movies have become bland generic action thrillers
>I know we'll blame a series of parody movies that ended well over a decade ago
>>64301586
Daniel Craig made a comment about how Austin Powers ruined the fun of the James Bond franchise.
Although, Casino Royale from 1967 did the exact same thing and was the direct inspiration for Austin Powers.
>>64301666
that's fucking retarded. James Bond can still be fun and action packed. They don't have to go full on toilet humor/slapstick
>>64301532
Brosnans last 2 bonds ruined bond not powers
>>64301532
>A-AUSTIN POWERS IS THE PROBLEM
>>64301532
No, the problem is the audience.
>lol it's just like a parody I can't get this movie seriously anymore!
Woody Allen should be a villain again.
>>64301660
>implying this isn't true
the first thing people said when it turned out that the Spectre villain was Bond's brother was how Bond became just like the parody (Austin Powers)
>>64301730
Let's be honest. Daniel craig ruined the bond series.
>>64301831
Exactly. I don't get people's gripe with Craig's statement.
>>64301532
No commodity should be sacred you fucking retard.
>>64301846
No, no Craig bond is worse than those last two movies. People now have no idea what's it's like to go through truly terrible ruination of bond
>we decided to restart the franchise with stupid fucktard continuity for literally no reason
>OH BUT SOMEBODY ELSE MESSED IT UP
Fuck these pricks. I am so ready to see everyone making these movies replaced.
Austin Powers didn't even come out until 1997.
Goldeneye came out in 1995 and had already started the new Bond trend.
Hell even Timothy Dalton's Bond distanced itself from the gay fucking gags of Moore and Connery.
