And then he fucks off to the Rebellion and doesn't pay his debts to Jabba. THIS is why the Jabba scene is so meaningful in VI. Han was a trusted friend for Jabba, and Han through that away.

In the original 1997 special edition Luke screamed when he fell in Cloud City but the DVD and bluray special editions don't have that shit.

It completely negates Anakin's redemption. Rather than being redeemed and dying as an old man—the "Jedi" having "returned"—, Lucas is saying the real Anakin died in ROTS and his redemption was ultimately pointless.
There is not a single thing in the special editions that is an objective improvement over the original
