Alien Ressurection is good as a goofy spoof/comedy, and predetor is pretty comfy. Prometheus is pretty far removed from it. Some love it, some hate it, I just thought it was alright. The rest are desposable
Alien is the greatest slasher flick ever made. It's a masterful work of scifi and has Ridley at his most human and natural.
Aliens is fun as fuck and almost as good.

I like all of the alien movies, but the original is an essential. Get the blu ray release, watch the theatrical cut, make sure its dark as fuck, and get comfy.
Predator is a perfect sci-fi action movie.

It's got some interesting stuff, its technically very impressive, and its just to weird and french to ignore. It's Jean-Pierre Jeunet, if you know who that is, you have an idea of what you're in for.

Predator is a typical testosterone-packed Arnie army action movie in a jungle, with an alien hunting then, but it's still a great movie and I recommend watching it.

Alien, Aliens, Prometheus, and Predator are worth watching. Prometheus isn't everyone's cup of tea but I think its good enough to be considered worth it.
