Nah, too much of that book was ridiculous. Great prose.
That's the trouble with sci-fi in general. We have great idea men, like Heinlein and Dick, who are absolute shit writers.
Then we have fantastic writers like Gibson whose ideas need to be fleshed out a lot more.

It's been a while since I read it, but I remember liking Neuromancer's world building. It felt liked a lived-in world without taking timeouts to explain everything like a glossary.
